Know OCHO Nałęczów

It is in Nałęczów, where the history of the Medical Group of Professor Zagórski began. In 1998, in the very centre of the Health Resort Park, the first Eye Surgery Centre was opened. Still today, the centre receives patients in the “Prince Joseph” Health Resort building and owns a rich infrastructure developed over the years. Patients are offered with 3 ophthalmological offices, a diagnostic office, a treatment room for intravitreal injections and a modern operating suite. A patient with the longest treatment period has been under the care of the Eye Surgery Centre in Nałęczów for 20 years!

Highly qualified staff

  • OCHO Nałęczów employs a highly qualified staff of various specialists - 5 vitreoretinal surgeons, 3 plastic surgeons, 10 cataract surgeons, 2 glaucoma surgeons, 2 surgeons specialising in anterior eye reconstruction and a surgeon specialising in strabismus surgery.
  • The patients may choose from consultations and procedures in a commercial form or reimbursed by the National Health Fund.
  • OCHO Nałęczów specialises in micro-invasive glaucoma surgery, goniotomy by Kahook knife, GATT trabeculectomy and microimplantation. If necessary, we combine cataract surgery with glaucoma in a single procedure.

A wide range of services includes:

  • vitrectomy,
  • strabismus surgery under general anaesthesia,
  • plastic, cosmetic and reconstruction surgery,
  • iris reconstruction and plastic surgery, and implantation of artificial iris,
  • secondary implantation of artificial lenses,
  • refractive procedures of phakic lens implantation for myopia correction,
  • procedures are performed under general and local anaesthesia under permanent anaesthesiological care and monitoring.
